AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia will participate in the summit on protection of the snow leopards, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan, Montsame reported.
Deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism Ts.Batbayar met with Ulan Djusupov, Ambassador-at-Large of Kyrgyzstan, Chyngyz Kochorov, Global Snow Leopard & Ecosystem Protection Program Secretariat and Daniyar Ibragimov, Program Officer at the UNDP Kyrgyzstan.
The Kyrgyz delegates addressed the upcoming Snow Leopard Conservation Forum to be hosted by Kyrgyzstan on August 24–25 to which Mongolia’s President, Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Tourism are invited.
“Mongolia has long attached importance to snow leopard conservation, and we will continue to”, said the Deputy Minister, expressing support to the international forum in snow leopard conservation.
