AKIPRESS.COM - India will be celebrating 70th anniversary of its independence on August 15 in Bishkek, the Embassy of India in Kyrgyzstan reports.

To commemorate this important milestone, the Embassy of India will be organizing a special event themed India @70 in the Hayatt Regency Hotel in Bishkek.

The main highlights of the India @70 celebrations on 15 August 2017 will be as follows:

1. A Gala reception from 1900 to 2100 hrs in the Hayatt Regency hotel in which dignitaries, senior officials, members of the civil society, local celebrities, prominent representatives of India Diasporas, Heads of Missions of the other countries will be invited.

2. Dances and music of India.

3. Indian food festival in partnership with the Hyatt Hotel to be opend on the same day. (Festival from 16th to 19th August 2017). Invitees will be presented with authentic cuisine from States of India.

4. Screening of films on India

5. Raffle with attractive prizes.
