AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev today refused to sign the draft law of the Parliament, which proposes to allow citizens to legalize houses on the irrigated lands built before introduction of a moratorium on transformation of lands.
The head of state returned the bill to the Parliament for reconsideration and concretization of the document, the President's press service said.
The Parliament should clarify which documents are required for transformation of the certain categories of land plots, which is one of the President's requests before signing the document.
The Parliament passed the draft law, which might allow citizens to legalize more than 38,200 houses built on the irrigated lands, in June 2017.
