AKIPRESS.COM - After the talks between the officials delegations of Turkmenistan and Armenia had concluded today in Yerevan, the ceremony of signing bilateral documents took place.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan inked the joint communique, Turkmen president's press service said.
They also witnessed the signing of an agreement on cooperation on tourism, a program of cooperation on culture and arts for 2018-2020, a program on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia for 2018-2019, a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding on cooperation on the exchange of financial and intelligent information with regard to money laundering, proceeds of crimes and terrorism financing, and a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding on cooperation in the sports.
The agreements on scientific and technical cooperation between the Institute of Seismology and Atmospheric Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Institute of Geophysics and Engineering Seismology named after A.Nazarov of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, between Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the Yerevan State University, between the Turkmen Agricultural University and the National Agrarian University of Armenia were also signed.
The memorandum on cooperation between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia was also signed.
