AKIPRESS.COM - Vice President of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla will attend the First Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Science and Technology in Astana on September 10-11, Indonesia media report.
The Vice President si accompanied by Mrs. Mufidah Jusuf Kalla. Vice President Kalla will deliver a speech on the proposed excellent programs and scholarships to OIC member states, as well as the importance of cooperation between Center of Excellence in Working Session I: Emerging Relations between Science and Society in the 21st Century, Husain Abdullah, spokesperson for Vice President Jusuf Kalla, told Netral News.
"This will be a presentation that hopefully can inspire other countries to advance in science and technology, it's not just a special impact to Indonesia.This has become a momentum. As Vice President, Mr. Kalla understand that the leap of science and technology is very fast," he said.
Husain added that the Vice President will also hold several bilateral meetings, including with the President of Kazakhstan, which is an opportunity for Indonesia to further strengthen relations with the country.
