AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with US Ambassador to Uzbekistan Pamela Spratlen on October 2 in Tashkent, the Uzbek foreign ministry reported.

Diplomats discussed the results from President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to the United States on September 18-20 and the meetings of the Uzbek leader with representatives of US business circles.

They also discussed implementation of agreements signed during Mirziyoyev's trip to the U.S.

Kamilov and Spratlen also exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of the forthcoming bilateral contacts at various levels.

In particular, they discussed the participation of the US delegation in an international high-level conference “Central Asia: One Past and a Common Future, Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Prosperity”, which will be held in November under the auspices of the UN in Samarkand.
