AKIPRESS.COM - Presidential candidate Omurbek Babanov cast ballot Sunday at the polling station opened at the school #70 in Bishkek.
He was accompanied by his wife and children.
After the vote, Babanov responded to questions of journalists. He told reporters that the results of vote will be known at 9 pm today. He said a parallel vote counting will be carried out. At least 3 observers are monitoring in each polling station.
Candidate for president Temir Sariyev voted at the polling station in the Bishkek State University building.
He told reporters that one must know how to win and how to admit defeat. Sariyev said preliminary result of vote will be known at around 8:30 pm today. "Automated counting machines will allow to do that."
The University hosts three polling stations.
Presidential candidate Taalantbek Masadykov voted at the polling station in one of the Bishkek schools.
He told reporters that the process is smoothly running and there were no problems with identification of people by their fingerprints.
He hoped that everything will go on smoothly today and the system will show result.
