Sooronbai Jeenbekov set to win Kyrgyzstan presidency with 54.77% of votes

AKIPRESS.COM - Sooronbai Jeenbekov is defeating Omurbek Babanov and the rest of the presidential candidates with 54.77% of the votes as of 21:44 GMT+6, the preliminary results presented by the Central Electoral Commission show.

Preliminary tally shows Omurbek Babanov won 33.78%, then comes Adakhan Madumarov with 6.48%.

Temir Sariyev won 2.56% of the votes, Taalatbek Masadykov - 0.63%.

Meanwhile, Jeenbekov's colleagues began to arrive at his campaign headquarter. Isa Omurkulov, Melis Turganbayev, Kylichbek Sultanov, Turgunbek Kalmurzayev, Damira Niyazaliyeva, Jyldyz Isabekova, Dastan Bekeshev, Nurmuhamed Minbayev, Alga Kylichev, Almaz Kenenbayev were seen at the headquarter.
