AKIPRESS.COM - Sooronbai Jeenbekov, ex-Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan gained 54.46% of votes as of 01:26 am (GTM+6) on October 16, according to the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The country's oil tycoon Omurbek Babanov, who leads the opposition Respublica party, is the second leading candidate with 34.2% of votes followed by Adakhan Madumarov - 6.36%.
Temir Sariyev (2.56%) was seen among the leading candidates.
