AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Turkey on October 25-27 at the initiative of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Istanbul Exporter's Association reports.

The two Presidents last time met on September 10 in Astana on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on science and technologies, centralasian.org said.

Then, they discussed cooperation issues in trade and economic, investment, tourism and other issues.

Mirziyoyev recently signed a decree on mitigation of the visa regime for citizens of Turkey. Now they can get visa to Uzbekistan without any invitation.
