AKIPRESS.COM - Belarus House of Representatives will consider ratification of the Belarus-Turkmenistan intergovernmental agreement on prevention of crimes during the parliament's autumn session, MP Vasily Chekan told Belta state news agency.
The agreement was signed during the visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to Ashgabat on 30 March 2017.
“The current cooperation agreement between the interior ministries of Belarus and Turkmenistan, which was signed in Minsk back in 1993, is outdated. Some provisions need to be amended," Chekan said.
According to the draft agreement, Belarus and Kazakhstan are to exchange operational, background, crime, and other information of mutual interest, exchange legislative and other legal information, scientific and special literature, and help each other train and re-train specialists.
