3-meter python found in Aravan

AKIPRESS.COM - A 3-meter dead python was discovered by local people in Aravan, a district in Osh region that bothers with Uzbekistan.

Locals assume that the snake might come from Uzbekistan. The python was found near the water canal in Fergana on the border with Uzbekistan.

"Probable someone in Uzbekistan breeds snakes, and when it died, it was thrown away to the canal," local veterinarian Mamatiraim Taiibayev assumed.

Pythons are a family of nonvenomous snakes found in sub-Saharan Africa, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Burma, southern China, Southeast Asia, and from the Philippines southeast through Indonesia to New Guinea and Australia. Among its members are some of the largest snakes in the world.
