AKIPRESS.COM - Turkish company Alke İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret will asphalt 33 km of the Osh—Batken—Isfara road (75-108 km section).
Local companies Jagalmai and Kyzyl-Ordo will be attracted as subcontractors. 14 km of the road section has been asphalted already.
Over $2.5 billion have been attracted for the improvement of road infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan during its independence, press secretary of the Transport Ministry Kilichbek Dosumbetov said.
The biggest part of this money is spent on the Osh—Batken—Isfara road, Talas—Taraz—Suusamyr, Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart, as well as the North—South Alternate Road Corridor, he said.
