AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz tankers take part in the international championship "Tank Biathlon", the 8-motorized rifle division of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic in Osh city reported.

The 7th Tank Biathlon International Championship began August 3. The championship will be held from August 3 to 17 at the Alabino range of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Tank crews from 25 countries will take part in the competition.

Three crews of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces will take part in the championship on behalf of Kyrgyzstan.

The teams will compete in battlefield orientation, driving skills, accuracy of shooting and tank fire control.

The draw was held for the participants on July 24. The team from Kyrgyzstan joined the group of teams from Russia, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Azerbaijan.

Tankers from Kyrgyzstan, along with teams from Russia, Iran and Armenia, will take part in the competition August 4-5-7.
