Artificial rock triggering set for Boom gorge from Oct 14

AKIPRESS.COM - Artificial rock triggering will be conducted in the Boom gorge from Oct 14 to 18, the Kyrgyz Temir Jolu JSC said.

The campaign is aimed at safe movement of trains and motor cars.

The road will be periodically blocked from 9 am to 3 pm by road police.

In case of a traffic jam of more than 30-40 cars, the rock triggering works will be stopped for cars' movement.
