IATA okeys change in code of Nur-Sultan airport

AKIPRESS.COM - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has approved change of the code of the Nur-Sultan airport, the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan said.

"Today at the “IATA Global Airport and Passenger Simposium” Conference in Warsaw with the participation of the Kazakhstan delegation led by the chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID RK Talgat Lastayev, consisting of AirAstana and Skat airlines’ representatives, a set of amendments initiated by Kazakhstan to IATA Resolution 763 was approved. Based on the amendments, the code of the Nur-Sultan International Airport will be changed according to the IATA procedures and standards," the CAC says.

Meanwhile, there is no information on which exactly code will have the airport, Vlast.kz reports.
