Respublika faction orders Osh mayor to expedite development of general layout plan

AKIPRESS.COM - Respublika Respublika faction ordered Osh mayor Aitmamat Kadyrbayev to expedite development and approval of the city's general layout plan at the field session in Osh city on February 21.

The mayor promised to submit the draft layout plan to the local council for considered within 3 months.

“Preparation of the plan will require 10 million som,” he said.

The mayor complained about shortage of funds for construction and repair of roads, lack of preschool education institutions, insufficient access to safe water for population.

The faction also tasked the government and Osh mayor's office to prepare the city's socio-economic development program 2015-2018.

The mayor was instructed to make arrangements to stabilize industrial production, to complete construction of unfinished sites, to ensure uninterrupted electricity supplies, to ensure timely renovation of medical, education and cultural facilities in the city.
