AKIPRESS.COM - An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 occurred on March 10 near the Pacific Coast of Mexico, RIA Novosti reported referring to the website of the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremors were registered at 00.38 UTC. The earthquake's epicenter was located in the Pacific Ocean 32 kilometers southwest of the Mexican city of Pinotepa Nacional, Oaxaca, and 64 kilometers south of Ometepek, Guerrero.
There is no data about possible destructions or casualties, or about threat of a tsunami.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported on “yellow” threat level indicating little likelihood of victims and economic damage.
