AKIPRESS.COM - Authorities of Venezuela have named the U.S. Government a main inspiration of violence worldwide and refuted recent statements by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden on situation in the South American country, RIA Novosti reported referring to Venezuelan media.

The United States Government is an expert on invasions, economic blockades and wars launched for its economic purposes under false threats, a creator of weapons of mass destruction and responsible for the death of thousands and millions of civilians around the world. The U.S. has no moral right to talk about disrespect of human rights in Venezuela and question efforts of the Bolivarian Government to keep peace in Venezuela, the communique of the Venezuelan Government said.

Earlier, Joe Biden expressed concerns on the use of law enforcement agencies during mass anti-government demonstrations in Venezuela which killed 20 people.

Vice President of Venezuela Jorge Arreaza stressed the U.S. joined the media campaign at the international level to create a false image of violence and repression in Venezuela.

At the same time, the Venezuelan Government underlined its willingness to resume normal relations with the United States on the basis of direct and open dialogue, mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of each other.
