AKIPRESS.COM - President of China Xi Jinping will kick off a trip to Europe next Saturday. It will be his first visit to Western Europe since taking office last March, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China reported.
President Xi will participate in the international Nuclear Security Summit scheduled for March 24-25 in the Hague.
Afterwards, Xi Jinping will travel to France and visit the UNESCO headquarters.
He also intends to go to Germany and Belgium.
Economic cooperation will be mainly discussed.
Bilateral trade between China and the European Union exceeded $546 billion in 2012.
