AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe had a meeting in the Hague on March 24, Kazinform reports Monday.
The officials discussed a wide range of bilateral issues. President Nazarbayev expressed willingness to actively develop cooperation with Japan in all directions, including cooperation in the energy sector and nuclear energy.
The Kazakh President proposed the Japanese side to take part in the industrialization program of Kazakhstan. The President also invited the Prime Minister to visit Kazakhstan.
In his turn, the Japanese PM noted the high level of development of relations between the countries. He expressed hope for Kazakhstan to support promotion of the initiative Central Asia plus Japan and stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan.
