AKIPRESS.COM - Pavlodar region has allocated $14.2 million for the implementation of the state program on development of single-industry towns, the press service of the regional administration reported.

The region has adopted comprehensive measures for 2013-2015 under the program, said Mayor of Pavlodar Kanat Bozumbayev during the meeting with the heads of Ekibaztuz and Aksu towns.

He noted that the infrastructure of Ekibastuz and Aksu towns do not develop properly. In Ekibastuz, there is a weak employment of professionally trained members of the Roadmap Employment program, he said.

Mr Bozumbayev tasked the heads of Aksu and Ekibastuz towns to organize reconstruction of engineering infrastructure settlements in the towns.
