5 killed in Indian Air Force transport plane crash

AKIPRESS.COM - 223189-crash An Indian Air Force C-130J transport plane today crashed near the central city of Gwalior.

The aircraft, made by Lockheed Martin Corp. (LMT), crashed during a routine training session, the Air Force said in a statement.

Spokeswoman Rochelle D’Silva said a rescue team has been sent to the spot of the crash in the central state of Madhya Pradesh.

All five crew members were killed, Times Now television channel reported without citing anyone.
