AKIPRESS.COM - Ukraine International Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways will jointly develop air flight between Ukraine and Uzbekistan, UzDaily says.

Following the results of the latest round of negotiations, Ukraine International Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways defined promising and priority guidelines for further cooperation en route Kiev-Tashkent-Kiev.

Thus, the sides attained pivotal agreement on operations’ frequency. Each carrier will be operating two flights per week. Both carriers’ inbound and outbound flights are scheduled so that the demand of both point-to-point and transit passengers was met.

From 15 July 2014, Uzbekistan Airways will offer non-stop scheduled service between Tashkent and Kiev, while from 14 August 2014, Ukraine International will launch non-stop scheduled flights connecting Kiev and Tashkent.

In addition, UIA and Uzbekistan Airways agreed to conclude a bilateral interline agreement on traffic documents’ recognition and a code sharing agreement by late July 2014.
