Tajikistan to import 1million ton of wheat to Pakistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Wheat Pakistan's  Minister for National Food Security and Research Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan on Tuesday informed Director of Agency on Sate of Tajikistan Noor Muhammad Atoev that Pakistan could export one million ton of wheat to his country.

At a meeting Atoev showed interest to import Pakistan’s wheat and sugar, DT news agency of Pakistan said.

Bosan briefed him that Pakistan’s wheat was one of the best quality commodity in the world and Pakistan would be happy to export one million tonne of wheat to state Tajikistan.

Pakistan has 1.7 million tonnes surplus of sugar and ready to export sugar to Central Asian State.

Federal Minister said both countries were already doing trade and this new agreement would strengthen brotherly terms to new heights. Tajikistan’s Director of Agency invited Bosan to visit his state.
