AKIPRESS.COM - The center for coordination and development of securities market and its territorial bodies registered 271 issues of shares for 6.13 trillion sum ($2.52 billion) in 2014.

As of 1 January 2015, total nominal value of existing issues of shares made up 12.7 trillion sum ($5.23 billion), which rose by 2.4 trillion sum, or by 23.9%.

To protect rights of minority shareholders of the joint stock companies, number of shares in circulation rose from 10.2 billion units to 965.2 billion units in 2014, or rose 96.4 times in the result of splitting their par value.

Last year, Uzpromstroybank issued shares for 325.2 billion sum, Uzeltekhsanoat – 242.2 billion sum, Uztransgaz – 123.6 billion sum, Asaka Bank – 75 billion sum, Uzagrosanoatmashholding – 73.1 billion sum, Uzmahsusmontajqurilish – 13.3 billion sum and Qishloq Qurilish Bank – 16.7 billion sum.
