AKIPRESS.COM - Artists from China will present a gala concert of Happy Spring Festival at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation in Astana on January 30, the press service of the mayor of the city said.

The program includes performance of the Zhengzhou Dance and Song Theater and Shaolin Tagou Martial Arts School. According to Astana Department of Culture, the masters of art will show tricks of Wushu masters, skilful dance performances, instrumental solo on traditional Chinese instruments such as Erhu and Suo.

Students of the most famous Shaolin Tagou Martial Arts School are involved and are winners of international tournaments on kung fu, they were also invited to perform at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens, at the opening ceremony of the World Special Olympics, Asian Games and opening and closing of the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Zhengzhou Dance and Song Theater is a professional artistic team of the Chinese government, which has repeatedly been awarded with Lotus Dance Prize. Dance group will show spectacular swans dance, a real art with fans, colorful folk dances.
