The 12th meeting of the Kazakh-Tajik intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation kicked off in Dushanbe on Thursday.
The Kazakh Embassy in Tajikistan told earlier the parties plan to discuss further strengthening of the trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation.
The tow-day event will also discuss the Tajik-Kazakh ties in energy, transportation, agriculture, tourism, and other spheres.
Chairman of the State Committee for Investments of Tajikistan Kodiri Kosim and Deputy Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Talgat Akhsambiyev will chair the meeting.
