AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia's Munkhbat Urantsetseg claimed a bronze medal in judo at the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade running in South Korea, Montsame reports.
She performed in the weight category among women under 48 kg on Tuesday, and managed to defeat the opponents from Kazakhstan, France and Mexico. During the semifinals, she was beaten by Bo-Kyeong Jeong from South Korea.
So, the silver medal went to Brazilian Gabriela Chibana, and the second bronze medal – to Yao Xiong of China.
The same day, Dagvadorj Bayarmagnai took the 5th place among men under 60 kg weight category.
To date, the national university team of Mongolia has one gold and two bronze medals.
