OSCE Center in Bishkek hands over 3 vehicles to Kyrgyz Association of Women Police

AKIPRESS.COM - OSCEIn honor of the 5th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Association of Women Police, the OSCE Center in Bishkek handed over three Volkswagen and Niva vehicles to women police officers in Bishkek.

The handover ceremony took place on March 3 during the International Conference "The role of women police in the modern world" in the Ala-Archa State Residence.

The event was attended by Head of the OSCE Center in Kyrgyzstan Sergey Kapinos, who noted the importance of the role of women police officers in creating a modern population-oriented police and increasing public confidence in the law enforcement bodies.

The vehicles will be used by women police officers of Jeti-Oguz district of Issyk-Kul region and Kara-Kulja district of Osh region.
