AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj visited Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (GCCEI) in Pangyo near southern Seoul on May 20 during his visit to Korea, according to BusinessKorea.
As the Mongolian government became more interested in GCCEI along with Pangyo Techno Valley, 18 congressmen of Mongolia visited GCCEI and Pangyo Techno Valley early this year.
Lim Deok-rae, General Manager of GCCEI, made a presentation about GCCEI and Pangyo Techno Valley, welcoming the Mongolian President who showed, in particular, a great interest in Korea’s creative economy and innovation.
The general manager briefed the Mongolian President on the importance of business acceleration by introducing four GCCEI-incubated startups as an example.
Heinosky Korea, which produces non-combustible insulating Styrofoam, was invited to the event since the product can help endure the cold climate of -25 degrees in Mongolia. 12CM also briefed President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj on how their echoss smart stamp can be used to pay where there is no POS terminal. Another startup Amadas, which produces a digital door lock that does not consume too much battery power, also attended the event. Attocube demonstrated how their nine wooden cubes can make 2.3billion patterns.
