AKIPRESS.COM - The National History Museum of Mongolia houses now a small cinema, says News.mn.
Funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, this cinema is the first of its kind in Mongolia. It is equipped with a Panasonic PT-RW330EA projector. Together with other equipment, the cinema cost 44 million togrog (some US$22 thousand).
The museum's leadership hopes the number of its visitors would increase.
"Our museum receives 85,000 visitors annually, half of them are tourists. We will screen historical and educational films of our archive," they said.
The National History Museum's archive has 56,000 films and videos.
