AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan Ambassador to Kuwait Jusupbek Sharipov held a meeting on June 19 with the Assistant to the Speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The sides expressed interest in development of inter-parliamentary ties between Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait.

They also noted the fruitful outcome of the visit of President Almazbek Atambayev to Kuwait in December 2015, which has become an impetus for the more intensive launch of the Kyrgyz-Kuwaiti ties.

In addition, the issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including the exchange of visits.
