Presidents of five foreign countries to watch Naadam

AKIPRESS.COM - This year marks the 2225th anniversary of the establishment of the statehood of Mongolia, 810th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and the 95th anniversary of the People’s revolution. The organizing committee is led by the deputy prime minister of Mongolia Ts.Oyunbaatar.

He and the secretary of Naadam organizing committee have gotten au fait with the preparations for Naadam.

“Also, presidents of 4-5 countries are expected to watch the Naadam Festival this year. Therefore, the preparations must be of high standard,” noted Ts.Oyunbaatar.

For the first time in Naadam history, the committee has chosen the general director of the festival opening in an open selection. State-prize-holder director T.Naranbaatar and his team of artists have been selected to perform the celebration opening.

Counseling events for ensuring the safety of jockey children, taking part in the Naadam horse races, will be organized.
