AKIPRESS.COM - 80 kilometers of a new road linking the Mongolian towns of Ondorkhaan and Choibalsan were commissioned on June 25, News.mn reports.
Ondorkhaan is located 290 km east of Ulaanbaatar. It has a population of roughly 15,000 persons and serves as the capital of Khentii province. Choibalsan, meanwhile, is the fourth-largest city in Mongolia and the capital of Dornod province.
The first stage of the road to link the two towns had been delayed for two years because of financial problems.
63 km of the road more will be completed before the Naadam Festival next month.
