AKIPRESS.COM - The 2016 Naadam Fest took place in Warsaw among Mongolians residing in Poland, the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

Mongolia Ambassador to Poland Nyama Bataa made the opening remarks and greeted guests on the national event.

The Mongolian Melody band staged a concert during the festival which attracted 200-250 Mongolians from Wrocław, Kraków, Katowice and other cities of Poland. Polish public representatives also attended the event. They tasted Mongolian cuisine and dairy products.

The national wrestling tournament was held among 16 wrestlers. Other sports competitions were held in archery, ankle-bone shooting, sprint running and tug-of-war. Winners of each competition received certificates and gifts from the Mongolian Embassy.
