AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia will close its border with China on October 31 due to the celebrations to honor Genghis Khan in line with the bilateral agreement on border checkpoints.

Mongolia annually celebrates its Pride Day dedicated to Genghis Khan on the first day of the first winter month, according to lunar calendar.

The border will be still open on October 19, when Mongolia is holding the election to local councils.
