AKIPRESS.COM - Academician D.Regdel was elected the next president of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. He holds degree of Doctor of Science in chemistry. he is the former first vice president of the Academy.

Regdel was born in Govi-Altai province in 1951. He graduated from the National University of Kharkov in 1976 majoring in biochemistry, and defended doctor’s degree in the Humboldt University of Berlin in 1985 and the degree of doctor of science in 2001.

Regdel was elected a member of the Academy in 2002. Until then, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Chemistry and Physics, lab curator and the science secretary at the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. He became the first vice president in 2009.
