AKIPRESS.COM - A ceremony commemorating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Mongolia and Serbia was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ulaanbaatar, according to The UB Post.
During the ceremony’s opening remarks, Foreign Minister Tsend Munkh-Orgil thanked the government of Serbia for granting Mongolian students scholarships and developing relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador of Serbia Milan Bačević noted that the two countries had maintained historic and friendly ties for many years. He said Serbia was willing to bring relations and cooperation to a new level.
Heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations in Ulaanbaatar, as well as representatives from Mongolian ministries, agencies, state bodies, entrepreneurs and business community participated in the event.
