Kyrgyz language to be taught in New York

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz American Foundation announces the launch of their unique educational program in New York City, the Foundation told AKIpress. 

The program presents lessons in Kyrgyz language, including history and culture, and the performing arts through intensive classes held in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Acclaimed teachers and artists will lead students on a journey of enriched knowledge of beautiful Kyrgyz culture.

Students will learn to play the Komuz, the Kyrgyz national instrument, from acclaimed teachers and in addition will have performance opportunities through Kyrgyz American Foundation.
