AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan and Turkey signed a package of documents worth $1 billion during Uzbek delegation's trip to Turkey, reports Jahon news agency.
The delegation was headed by Vice Prime Minister Rustam Azimov.
The talks of the sides focused on the priority areas of development of the economic cooperation between the two countries.
Participants of the meetings have expressed their mutual agreement on strengthening the trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
In November 2016, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Samarkand discussed the development of a road map on bolstering cooperation of the countries.
