Life in rural Kyrgyzstan: Schoolboy from Balykchy invents computer mouse that can be controlled by toes

AKIPRESS.COM - Akylbek Baktybekov studying in one of the schools of Balykchy town of Issyk-Kul region has invented a computer mouse for people with disabilities that can be controlled by toes, reports AKIpress Bilim.

According to deputy chief of the department of education of the town Nurgul Mambetova, Akylbek presented his invention at the school competition “We are intellectuals of the 21st century” and is preparing for the second round of the competition.

The competition is being held among school students of all ages of 10 schools of Balykchy. Five school students as a result of the competition gained opportunity to participate in the regional tournament, which will be held in Karakol town on April 4-6.

Akylbek's mouse is functioning, noted Nurgul Mambetova.

As part of the named school competition, a 13-year -old schoolboy from Kara-Kashat village of Talas district has invented a dust cleaning device.
