AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov presented the Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky with the distinctive badge and the certificate of conferring the title "Honorary Elder of the People".

Traditionally, the guest was presented with the Turkmen national don (oriental robe), telpeck (national fur-cap) and kushak (sash). The ceremony was held with the participation of members of the Russian delegation, who arrived in our country.

Thanking for the high honor, Vladimir Zhirinovsky once again stressed that he was inspired and admired by what he has seen in Turkmenistan. As the guest noted, he always felt a special sympathy for the hospitable Turkmen people, who is the heir and custodian of beautiful wise traditions passed from generation to generation and laid down in the basis of the national mentality.

After the awards ceremony, the Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia made a familiarization tour along the National Tourist Zone "Avaza", using the services of a special resort park, which provides retro-cars, electric cars, horsed phaetons, etc. for guests and vacationers.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky drove on the representative white cabriolet "Chaika". Members of the Russian delegation also went for a ride in horsed carriages, having seen the sights of the tourist zone and the beauty of the Caspian coast.
