AKIPRESS.COM - A 5-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Tajikistan today at 1:30 am, the seismology institute reports.
The quake was centered 263 km north-east of Dushanbe. In Lyakhsh district, intensity of the earthquake made 4 points, in Dushanbe — 2 points.
No victims and damages were reported, reports Asia-Plus with reference to spokesman of the Emergency Situations Committee Umeda Yusupova.
Two jolts in Tajikistan were registered on May 3 at 9:47 am. Tremors of both earthquakes in Dushanbe were 3 points.
According to the Emergency Ministry Committee of Tajikistan, 2 houses were partially damaged in Lyakhsh district. No victims were reported. Aftershocks of the quake have been felt in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
