AKIPRESS.COM - Slow-moving landslide engulfed 36 homes in the village of Kurbu-Tash, Uzgen district of Osh region, specialist on land issues Orunbek Jakypbayev told Turmush correspondent on May 8.

The landslides also blocked two internal roads, he said.

"The landslide continues to move. The muds have wrecked already 35 homes and a rural health post. 61 people have been evacuated to a safer place, tents for temporary residence were established. Electricity was provided to the people living in tents," Jakypbayev reported.

According to the Emergency Ministry, the landslide moved 300 meters in one day.
