AKIPRESS.COM - The Vice President of Vietnam, Mrs Dang Thị Ngọc Thinh, participated in a Mongolian-Vietnamese business forum in Ulaanbaata on May 9 as part of her official visit to Ulaanbaatar at the invitation of Mongolian Prime Minister J.Erdenebat.
Mrs Dang Thị Ngọc Thinh spoke at the opening ceremony of business forum, saying that she hopes the bi-lateral deal between on trade, investment and economic co-operation will be a great success.
According to Vietnamese authorities, the trade volume with Mongolia reached $58 milllion in 2016. Mongolia imported rice, sugar, canned foods and telecommunication equipment for over $40 million.
The two sides have expressed interest in future cooperation in the field of natural resources, food and goods, reports news.mn.
