AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolian Prime Minister J.Erdenebat is currently visiting Beijing at the invitation of President Xi Jinping from May 12-15, news.mn reports.
The main purpose of the visit is to participate in the Belt and Road International Cooperation Forum.
PM J.Erdenebat met President Xi Jingping on May 12.
During the visit, the Mongolian PM and Chinese PM Li Keqiang are expected to sign memo of understanding regarding bilateral cooperation. The official talks will be held with a delegation of investment companies.
At least 28 world leaders as well as executives of the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund are also attending the Belt and Road forum for International Cooperation.
The "Belt and Road" initiative consists of two main components: the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
