Life in rural Kyrgyzstan: Jalal-Abad village's got its own Eiffel Tower

AKIPRESS.COM - Graduates that finished school 20 years ago decided to make a present to their village and constructed a smaller copy of the Eiffel Tower in Aksy district of Jalal-Abad region, Turmush reported.

The height of the Eiffel Tower, which was built for 300,000 som, is 12 meters.

According to head of Kosh-Dobo village Asanbek Tynybekov, construction was financed by 38 classmates. They graduated local secondary school in 1997.
