AKIPRESS.COM - The executive board of the International Money Fund (IMF) will hold a meeting about Mongolia’s request on the Extended Fund Facility Programme on May 28, reports news.mn.
During previous meeting on April 28, the IMF delayed the aid programme because of a problematic resolution of the Mongolian Parliament linked to approval of the 2017 State Budget
It was reported earlier the IMF financial aid programme to Mongolia had seemed to be on track until some international mining sector investors flagged a complaint regarding the above amendment.
The obstructive legislation was quickly removed with a majority of votes from the MP's in the State Great Khural.
