NASA image of landslide in Uzgen from space

AKIPRESS.COM - The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has released images of moving landslide in the village of Kurbu-Tash, Uzgen, from space.

The pictures were taken on May 11 from the Landsat 8 satellite that collects data and imagery to be used in agriculture, education, business, science, and government.

The pictures show before (April 25) and after (May 11) situation with the landslide, which did not cease to move.

As of May 13, the landslide engulfed 56 homes, medical aid point, mosque, 35 utility poles, and damaged the roof of local school and buried the cemetery.
